flukey-lukey
I'd like some info on this subject too. Fitted a FMIC and decided the aircon fan/rad/pipes need ripping out to allow air to flow to the radiator better. I never use it anyway. Is it a simple job? Anything else to consider when doing this? Scooter
i 'think' you have to plug the holes where it goes into the bulkhead......... Also to remove the aircon compressor you need special socket to remove a stud (i have one just can't think what its proper name is) B'have and/or envy should be able to help you out re the size of a new correct length aux/fan belt......... Thanks, will have a look at the pipes near the bulkhead. Can't the compressor be left as it is, would it spin freely? Seems a lot of hassle to take it out and get a shorter aux belt if its a freely rotating pully thing?
JamieP
I just removed the heavy back of the compressor and left the brace and wheel in place, was meaning to get a shorter belt but not got round to it. Dont remember blocking of any pipes unless one of the boys did it.
