Chiefgroover
yes i'd like to see what a 1998 vvti supra is worth in many other countries too, e.g. dubai, cyprus, Oz, Japan, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Greece etc. Perhaps if we have memebrs in all these places they can type it in here? Well I can show you this, this Supra in thailand is up for £40,000, crazy when you think 40k will get you a very nice house there! and this is a common price for them. grahamc
oh yes, you cannot get a supra in South Africa, nearly impossible to import a 2nd hand car... and most new cars cost around the same price as a bottom of the range house...
R Black
Many years ago I spent 3 months working in Florida and I could have changed to a local contract there. The lifestyle was lovely - very relaxing - and excellent weather (apart from a few windy days obviously). But - and I realise this is "racist" - I simply could not have worked with the Americans (at least not the ones I was working with). When I first got there I was well impressed - you'd hear them talking about problems and it all sounded good. But a month later, they were still having the same conversations - and I also discovered that "fully unit tested" in American translates to "Oh, I didn't test that". But looking at those pics, I think I could live with those problems. I could sell my house and live in NZ, Aus or San Diego in one of those houses and have no mortgage. Why do we stay in this country? And even more strange - why do other people move TO this country????? People move here because its bette than where they are(many places are worse), or because they will be in a pay bracket where england becomes a great place to live, however people leave because they can do so much better elsewhere, but other countries are not that easy to get into i.e. NZ, Aus, esp the US, me personally, i may be living in colorado early next decade i hope. Sups are dear in the US too.
