non-sequential turbo

The Bugatti isn't sequential though! :p

Is the main problem with a sequential the fact that bigger turbos don't spool as quickly? Which is the beauty of the sequential system in the first place - so if you go too big you only gain a few hundred rpm before the second tubby cuts in, and it's not worth it.

The turbos take energy out of the exhaust gas as it goes through, I like to see it as if they smooth out the turbulent air as it comes out past the exhaust valves, and smooth air is quieter than turbulent air!! In TTC the turbos don't spool up at low revs so it works like an NA (except not running as well!!).

Not exactly a proper technical explanation but that's basically what happens.

If an open cheque book is what you have go for 4 like the Bugatti as 3 has already been done on a supra with a sequential setup!

Hadn't seen this green car before- I know there are atleast two USDM cars with HKS GT25/30's in sequence (one since went single, tho ther remains sequential), a UK car with GT25's in sequence plus some weird ass JDM car that Nick provided pictures of a few months ago (red car iirc). TDi did the UK car, and avoid straighforward questions and answers regarding this car. On their website they show that they will perform this upgrade, price on application.
