Gripweed
Hope someone can help me out here , I need to alter the rev limit on the launch control. Just tried to open the software that Pete at THOR gave me and I think the disc is corrupt or summit so I can't open the file. It's the file called RLTC Settings.exe Has anyone got this and is it possible to email it? Thanks in advance. Phil
Nick
I believe the S/W has been updated now, you can download it on the other BBS....
Branners
or you can visit http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/RLTC/ as thats a mail group that has all the files and is specifically related to the racelogic application. Well worth joining up to the RLTC group as they have lots of resources on there. JB

Terminator
Race Logic have fixed the bugs in their software alledgedly. Having nearly stuffed my car in a ditch after using the last one and if totally Fcuked up my settings, I will need to be paid large sums of cash to try this one. It is still over complex if you want my opinion. If you want to go down a tried and tested dat file route PM me and I'll sort you out with a real mans file.:flame Dev

scooby_doo_do
Sort of slightly off the topic.. How do u chaps connect your racelogic to your laptops ? I have a com port connection, but my laptop doesn't.... My old dell did but this new one just has printer port and usbs.... Craig.
Aerotop Dave
Well, let's cover some other RLTC subjects then if we're going off topic I assume it's okay to adjust the knob (oo er) while on the move? (eg, when it starts raining you can just flip the knob round a notch. You don't have to be at a standstill or turn the engine off or anything)? Also, I assume Matt H used the DAT file that came with the thing. Is it okay or is the standard file considered to be a poor in any way and I'd be better off updating it? scooby_doo_do
You can twist that knob as much as you like.... Whatever turns you on really..... I'm always twisting mine whilst on the move... as it may start raining... So i'm sure its ok.....
Terminator
The adjuster is there to give instant control, so if road conditions change you twist to the appropriate setting. It has no effect on the car until the limits of the new settings are reached. So twist away, like we did last summer............................ I know Belkin do one which you should be able to get at PC world (the drivers will crash XP SP2 however!). I had serious problems getting it to communicate initially. The best way is connect the laptop to racelogic before booting up the laptop...

The standard files vary from piss poor to usable but IMO its always best to get termy to send you Graham Rudds app and tailored Dat file.
