Manic
Ok, I haven't tried(or had) to lock brakes yet, so I am not sure whether my car has ABS. Other than going outside and banging on the brakes is there an easy way to see if motor has ABS I dont appear to have any dash lights that light up so prob not. I was under the impression that all Supra's had ABS please correct me if ness. Matt

carl0s
really? That surprises me. Is it just NA's that don't or just J-Specs or something?
Faye
Its some NA's. I'm lucky, got ABS on mine as has Darren Blake.
carl0s
Well you learn soemthing new every day. Thanks Faye. WRT the original question, check your rear view mirror then slam on your brakes to skid. 15 - 20mph should be fast enough. If you have ABS the wheels will only lock momentarily (200msec or so) and you'll feel the brake pedal lift up or judder as the fluid is pulsed by the ABS system. Of course if you don't have ABS, you'll skid until you stop.

Matt Yep lift the bonnet and if there is a large squarish unit on the passenger side near the bulkhead under the windscreen with a load of pipes in it you have ABS. If there isn't you haven't
loks
There is also an 'ABS' warning light that lights at engine start up. It's on the left or right side of the dash, if that helps.
