Lewis
Well I struggled massively in the snow today. Barely managed to get the supra off my driveway and then got stuck on a tiny incline. I find with the automatic, you can't drive slower than a certain speed when the car is cold and revs are high. As soon as I took my foot off the brake (however slowly), the rear wheels turned and the car stayed where it was. So five minutes getting it back on the driveway, then I took the lotus out which handled it fine Traction in snow mode, car in manu and in D, works for me and I live on a hill (in a house....which is on a hill)
Homer
Mines a daily driver too. Used to have some problems getting up the hill near here as the road cambers towards the curb, the back end keeps wanting to slide towards it! I actually found it easier to drive today with the single than when it hads the stockers in, I guess its got less power down low and smoother torque curve. rob wild
I find it easier now single than before as BPU really, its just about holding it in gear to stop the kick down (in an auto) and really just taking it easy well easier
