Gary
Hi all, Im just wondering how long it would take for a garage to upgrade my j-spec brakes front and rear to UK specs including disks, calipers, pads and braided brake lines? Im trying to work out with their hourly rate if i can afford to do it this month or have to wait until after next payday. Or has anyone got an estimated price I should be paying? thanks in advance, Gary

Homer
I was charged 3 hours by a local garage for a full change (Discs, pads, lines and of course fluid. That wasn't an upgrade to the large brakes but can't see why that would be much more.
Gary
I was thinking about it, have been reading up on it but not 100% confidence i would be able to. wondering how much it would cost if i paid a garage, if its a lot then im sure my confidence would go up

letmeshowyou
I really would give it a go yourself. It took me longer to take my wheels on and off than change my front pads at the weekend!

Scooter
I really would give it a go yourself. It took me longer to take my wheels on and off than change my front pads at the weekend! it is fairly straight forward however he needs to be equipped to remove the j spec dust guards and will also need a one brake bleed kit or a helper...............
