lol, nicely done Jake. Only thing holding me back from buying this soop is that it's in storm blue, nice colour but not me really. But it sounds like a mechanically sound motor for a good price so could always get a respray/colour change? Few people have suggested sitting & waiting for the right one, but I've waited ages & TT manuals are v.rare as u know.

Signs off in deep contemplation....:conf:

yeh yeh its all friendly now isn't, that's how it started with me and Wipeout, all friendly friendly, but that Jake he'll turn on ya at some point:D (Jake just kidding too you Bast..)

Warrior if the car your thinking about is the one posted on here somewhere, the Scottish one, well it certainly seems good VFM, all the right bits and like you say manuals at this price are few and far between. (Maybe worth checking carefully the flywheel condition / noises for that age / mileage if its still the original)

Manual TTs aren't particulaly rare mate, unless you're talking about UK spec Supras.

I know what you mean about Storm Blue, I never liked that colour either but I must admit that LeeTT's and Paul Laing's cars both look really nice in it.

Whatever you do don't buy a car planning on getting it repainted a different colour, that's what I did and to be honest it was a big mistake. Every time I lift the bonnet (or the boot carpet, etc) I wish I'd left it the original colour. Also, every stone chip is a reminder of the car's previous colour. :(

Well cheers for the words of wisdom fellas, I was quite keen on the Scottish one but a respray will cost around 2k & after driving it for a year or2 it'll have well over 90k miles on the clock & hence will be difficult to sell on. Probably sit tight & keep looking for now. Have to carry on driving my other halfs 1.3 Fiesta Finesse in the meantime....NooooooooOOOOOoooooooooo!!!
