AFAIK the Butterfly was removed from the inlet in mine so I did not have any issues. I think if I told that to your car, she'll be very upset that you've swapped your manual for an autobox? The issue of fuse removal was with respect to auto not manual box. So I understand, removing the fuse is still not a good move. My fuse was removed when I had the autobox, The butterfly in the throttle was also removed though, so I assume that is what would also need to be done. At any rate, he is happy manually hitting the switch. Also I did not swap the manual for the auto, it was the other way around. I swapped a BL built Autobox for the V161.
