Supra Vs New M5

I've had a proper race with crowd and everything in greece last summer over a modified new M5, so it was like 30C+ which was a disadvantage to my sup.. We lined up next to each other from 30mph, i was on 2nd gear the road asphalt was brand new, horn signal was given and off we went. By the end of 2nd gear I had gained a full car, end of 3rd gear I had some wheelspin but I was clearly gaining about 2 cars plus, and then 4th gear he gave up as the distance i was gaining was becoming humiliating for the M5 who happened to be a professional race driver!!!. I arrived at the crowd, when he came back he was extremely angry and wanted a rematch. I left ignoring him, next day I went round his restaurant and he took me for a ride, the M5 is ok, pretty quick but what extremely surprised me was the way you can change gears, the tiptronic box has got almost 0 loses, it takes a fraction of a millisecond..I cant describe how quick you can change gears!!..Guy bough a skyline now!!, i guess he was depressed:d

I seem to rember Terry saying that car was 550 atf not wheels? Have you had more done to it?:)

I have the 55o dyno terry gave me pretty sure it's at the wheel - it's defo got 550lb of torq though - so that's a good indication either way.

My old sup was 400 at the fly and this one feels 2x as powerful as that old one.

It has had new cams on since that dyno was done as well, so the top end is a bit more leggy. The powerband on that thing is very good - pulls hard from 3 to redline - you never need to change gear!
