Have you noticed the poor driving standard recently?

Maybe it's just me, but the standard of driving over the last few days seems to have sunk to an all time low. I wonder if people are getting hammered at night and then driving the next day still under the influence.

On Friday, if I'd been - literally - one second earlier, my car would now be totalled. I was entering a retail estate, and was turning right at the mini-roundabout just inside the entrance and had to slam the brakes on. Some idiot in a black Merc 4x4 thing came across the roundabout doing at least 30mph. Missed me by inches - I was shaking afterwards.

It's the worst incident in the last few days, but there have been many more. People don't think you need to stop at give ways - you stop when your car is already half way out into the main road. Indicators - What are they? 60mph speed limit? No, it must mean 25mph.

We're going out tonight - after that I think I'll leave the Supra on the drive until the 28th when we're off to Barcelona!

..........and whats with the bloody rear foglights! Any sign of a a little bit of mist and people put them on.

I remember my instructer telling me if you cant see the cars lights infront then you can put the fogs on...or something along them lines

I love driving my Sup, but after going out during the day, watching all the stressed out shoppers with no care or regard, for anyones safety, i let some one drive me in the evening, i did'nt want to drive, as you may drive safe but theres always the idiot you cannot account for. Thats why i won't have a bike, love them, but too many nutters in the city.
