That bloody Michel

dangerous brain

Recommended Posts

Well what can I say. Absolutely top bloke. He puts himself out by collecting me the Mrs and the sprog from an airport an hour away from his gaff. He Takes me to his home makes us all more than welcome before even mentioning the car I am there just to view. There's a problem with the wheel nuts for the new wheels so in bloomin freezin temps he spends another hour of his time swapping the old wheels back on whilst my Mrs and sprog are made at home. We do the test drive (all I can say is the car did the selling and Michel tactfully did not at any point). I get back and find I have major communication issues (bloody phones ran out of credit) so the hotel room I was confirming on arrival I couldn't. No probs Michel sorts me out a local hotel, drives me there, and then takes me out in his local town for a beverage or two (saving me from the X-factor final) and introduces me to some startling Northeast cuisine. He comes back to the hotel the next day, collects family and I, and again entertains us for the afternoon, and returns us to the airport. Apart from picking us up none of this was pre-arranged.

So all in all many thanks old bean and I'll be back next year to collect the car. Maybe this time I'll be a bit more prepared :D

I've been to have a wee look at his supra as he doesn't want it any more :D

HAH yeah right ROFL :D :D

Nah I went to see the single turbo, do-luck aristo. Surprisingly bloody rapid even at only 1.0 bar and below 5k rpm. It was rather wet and slippery on the road and I didn't fancy losing a car I don't own. With an AEM, RLTC, fitted and running 1.6 bar in the summer I know it will be pant fillingly fast.
