wile e coyote Posted December 17, 2006 Share Posted December 17, 2006 Picked car up yesterday and drove home all all on motorway.Had a play when got home localy and all fine.Had to pick up mother in law in the evening so driving slow off boost most of the time but very ocasionly when i slightly put foot down got a little boost there would be a loud squeal but would then go ,this did not happen every time.I can only say it sounded like a slipping belt. Have done a search and it talks about the BOV ? so all i want to know is if its not a belt but the BOV what is hapening ,will it hurt my wallet and what can i do about it ,Ta Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wile e coyote Posted December 19, 2006 Author Share Posted December 19, 2006 Think i have found the problem .Auto gearbox oil was low ,did not think of this as Mrk 4 had drained oil and refilled when fitting new engine hope it has not caused any damage.which oil to use ?
