garetheves Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 A lad at work has recently bought a new 1 series Beemer, so obviously i had to do a bit of slating, telling him where the indicator is, hope he isnt a typical BMW driver etc etc and he told me about the test drive. He was driving, salesman in the passenger seat and they set off. As they pull onto a duel carriageway the salesman turns round and says in a very stuck up manor, and this is no word of a lie, "you can now move into the BMW lane". WTF i thought this was just something we took the pi$$ out of them about, but no, they actually think that way and belive the fast lane is just for them. Robbo Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 My friend took a BMW out a few weeks back for a test drive, it's the new 3 series one, very nippy but is about £28.000, cant remember the exact model (probably cos i dont give a shit) anyway the salesman took him on the motorway and told him to "floor it" so he did and he was in the fast lane on the motorway behind other cars and the salesman said "just get on their arse, as soon as they look in their mirror and see the badge and the grill they will move over!!!!".
