You don't necessarily need the 550 injectors unless you're going above 1.2 bar boost, but if you do use them then you'll need a fuel controller. adi2009 Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Ya, pretty pointless swapping to UK turbos with 440cc injectors (assuming that you are planning on swapping turbos to attain higher power levels at BPU) since the injectors run out of flow at 1.2-1.3bar on jspec turbo s themselves. INDYPWR Posted November 15, 2006 Author Share Posted November 15, 2006 well, right now im hitting 1.2 bar daily. i do plan to change to 550's so can i achieve more boost than 1.2 bar ? i've got the whole exhaust manifold as well and a new TRD down pipe and resistor box. tks mates!
