SUPRA TT
do you think ist a good turbo for the supra ..... r a new 71mm T5 turbo set up by Block Innovations with a Turbonetics inlet, anti-surge ceramic coated compressor housing, and a 4" V-band exhaust outlet with Garrett, oil cooled and lubricated internals. Compressor 48 trim titanium compressor wheel 71mm compressor inducer 102mm compressor exducer 4" inlet 3" outlet Turbine 89 trim turbine wheel 84mm turbine inducer 74mm turbine exducer 1.10 A/R housing T5 thumper inlet 4" V-band outlet The turbo will flow 880 horsepower, but it's ideal efficiency range is around 800 to 850. It's been assembled and clocked for a 2JZGTE application, but would be ideal for anything 3.0L and up. On the 2JZ, this turbo spools just under 4,000 RPM. One of our identical turbos is pictures on a 2JZGE IS300 as a reference to how large this one is. Not just a dyno queen, this turbo will put real power down on the street. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r24/SUPRA3000TT/f614_2.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r24/SUPRA3000TT/f87b_0.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r24/SUPRA3000TT/f6e1_0.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r24/SUPRA3000TT/f7ab_0.jpg

Matt Harwood
It's been assembled and clocked for a 2JZGTE application, but would be ideal for anything 3.0L and up. On the 2JZ, this turbo spools just under 4,000 RPM. I don't know enough about turbo specifics, but I know enough to say that IMHO, that quote looks like misleading sales speak. 'spooling' just under 4k, is fair enough, but don't read it as 'full boost' just under 4k.

Marty
Doesnt it have a t5 flange on it though? You may have fun finding a manifold it'll fit on, unless you chop the top off a t4 manifold and put a t5 flange on instead.

Stick the AEM with the anti lag and you'll be laughing. Just make sure the block is gonna hold the power.
