Not a bad meet, only about 10 cars there in total but some nice examples. The organiser (who just so happened to be an old school friend I haven't seen in a few years now) is hoping to make this a regular event but on a bigger scale, so I'll keep you posted as and when I find out.

Alright Steve, good to see you've joined up!

Would be good to get some Jap cars together monthly, I'm sure there's plenty around this area.

That multi-coloured MK2 Escort that came in Lidls carpark made my night! Oh yeah, and the police car that joined the cruise - who said they weren't fun! :)

i recon the copper just thought it would be way too much paperwork to do us for anything:D

im glad that escort didnt join us...he looked really fast!!

i think weve found a good spot to meet at whitley.nice big parking area with no speedbumps etc.also theres alot of dual carrageways with national speed limits and roundabouts round there so we can have a proper blast.

ive seen so many people (mostly driving chav mobiles )come out of the kart center jump in their car and prang it on the way out as they dont realise their car wont handle like the kart they have been driving for the last hour:stupid:

should be a laugh though.

I'm well up for 'Go Karting for Fun'! I live dead opposite the entrance on Fareham Rd. I've been there and the Eastleigh track quite a few times & it's great fun.

The Fareham (technically Gosport!) one is better as it's tighter and there's loads of corners to go flying past people on.

It's weird driving after being on those karts, the steering and accelerator feel so light when you get back in your car.

Once you've chatted to your mate Steve, we should start a new thread on here about it and see who would want to go.

Like I said - put me down, I've got 2 exams left but apart from that nothing that can't wait for Karting all summer! Oh yeah, my bike test 15th - 22nd May is quite important too!

I am called dangerous cos I blatantly run people off the road if they get in my way so overtake me at your peril!!! In fact if I see you coming the other way at a narrow section between the circuit directions I will attempt to come through the tyres after ya LOL.

:D Thats funny!

We should organise a SEM go kart meet if this one doesnt go ahead.

On a different note DB - have you seen the red J-spec that parks on the main road by the New inn pub at all?

If its on your route from work then no I haven't seen it as I don't drive that way. Maybe the Real Brains of the outfit has seen it. We need a new account so she can post her own stuff.

No, its by the New Inn pub down the road from Barclays in Poole. I saw it the other night on my way home from Poole (playing football at the sports centre):)
