NIALLRUSSELL_HO
Quick question for someone who knows the right answer. Is it illegal to display your front number plate on the dash or Does it need to be on the front end bumper?
MR.B
From what I make of it - it seems to depend on the copper.
terribleturner
I was wondering the same thing the other day. When my car went for an MOT the tester put it in the window and said that as long as it was there it was a pass. So if the MOT tester will pass it does that mean that it's legal?? Rayman
I say it creates unwanted attention from the cops, whether they do you or not im not sure but for sake of a numberplate id put one on, think they look stupid in the front window anyway!. Well you don't need to have it in the window either, depends how brave you are. The idea of not having it on the front bumper is to let more air get to your FMIC. mathew
if its placed on the dashboard then the reflection in the windscreen would be enough do piss me off. if it was stuck on the windscreen it would still piss me off!!!

They retract back and forth etc. Very expensive tho, bet one of you handymen could fabricate one no probs!
