Sheefa Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Callipers are klarge on UK spec. Disks are different too I believe and are larger. Although, I think the later facelift J-specs were equipped with same size disks as UK spec. You'll definately need UK Callipers for larger disks and I recommend a set of Chris Wilson fast road pads too mate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The bloke who i bought my soop off told me all the stuff he had had done to it and never mentioned that he'd had the brakes done. Nic Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 Describing the brakes as J-spec and UK spec is confusing, the larger 4pot/2pot brakes were available as an option on the early J-spec Supra and standard on some of the later models. So it could be that your car came with teh larger brakes as standard from the factory If you post some pics of you front and rear brake calipers, we can tell you what you have fitted.
