What exactly classifies as BUP??

Only if you want to earn a '+' to put after your 'BPU' - it's all a bit gay if you ask me.

Imagine going to a car meet and speaking to say, for example, a Lotus Exige owner, and saying "my supras bpu++ ya know" or whatever. Sounds a load of bollocks. Just quote horsepower and torque figures, would cut down on the whole confusion of this BPU crap :p

I consider a fully decatted Supe running atleast 1.2 bar a true BPU, some say 1.1bar and some say 1.4bar, generally its when your fully decatted with supporting mods and the boost truned up.

 

Fly wheel power assuming your running 1.2bar can be any where from 380-420BHP assuming you have a healthy engine.

 

So BPU is only a term that can be associated to TT's?
