Guest N.KREFT Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 Car been parked up a while, with alarm and dead locks on, but the battery is completely flat and i cant open the door with key because of the deadlocks! anyone have any ideas please without breaking in? Kranz Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Put power (by using jump leads) to the positive cable that runs to the starter and earth to the engine. You should be able to access these from under the car with the bonnet closed. Then you can use the remote to open the doors. Be careful you get the cables the right way round though! ECK Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 be very carefull with jump leads on a puggy the ecu's arent the best on em and they spike easly on start up keep the leads on for a few mins because if you dont the altinator hits max amprage and spikes the ecu!!! so mind leave the jumpers on for a few mins to let the batt voltage stabalise.
