SupraAyf Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 Hi guys, Just a quick one but over the last few months, I have polished a few things under my bonnet and I have attained some real good results. The problem is that is takes so bloody long with the basic materials that I have been using (An example of my work is in my 'well-outdated' garage pics where you can see my HKS intake is looking fairy OK). The question is: Do any of you know where I can get a kit that grinds down the metal and then buffs it also (or at least where I can get the different component parts). It will clearly take a couple of stages to achieve but does anyone know where I could get such a kit (and at what cost). The DIY stores seem to have bugger-all. If you give me the details of what you want im sure i could knock up a kit for less than the price he is quoting as i get a good trade discount. I second that, iv only done a few bits and it's so laborious takes hours! but i think the results are very rewarding http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/3461/16092006aj0.jpg This is the intake pipe from my HKS induction kit (yes i know it's going to kill my engine) started of as just a rough casting with dimples all over it.
