JohnA
I have applied for it and it was supposedly activated yesterday through my BT line. Haven't had a chance to connect anything to it, but the phone went funny all of a sudden, with extreme echo and acting like two separate lines all at once. That's despite using the little 'filters' they send you. WTF? Anyone else have such problems?
Muffleman
Hmm, interesting - I was going to sign up but couldn't find out if they have newsgroups access.
Conrad
John, have you had your letter from Sky giving you the exact date it will change from your previous ISP to them? Was that date yesterday? You also need a MAC code or something to change over, unless of course this is your first time with Broadband. I don't have Sky BB myself as I can't get the 16mb off Sky but my mate went online with it couple days ago. He's been getting download speeds of over 350kb/s!!! AJI
What are the current deals with Sky Broadband ? If you are an existing Sky Digital customer do you get Sky broadband for any cheaper per month ? Somebody was telling me that if you have sky digital TV then you get Sky broadband for free ?? That's not right is it ?

There are 3 options and all of them only apply to Sky customers 2 MB download and a 2GB download limit - Free Upto 8 MB and a 40GB download limit - £5 per month Upto 16MB and unlimited (IIRC) download limit - £10 per month There are various connection charges depending on which one you choose but I can't remember them at the moment. My area will be within the next 12 months. Until then I can go onto Sky Broadband Connect for £17 a month - speeds of up to 8Mb and a 40Gb cap.
