CJ
My friend is back home from ireland and needs a new broadband connection. I know that in the past, people have posted a link that shows the best deals available etc. Is that still out there?

CJ
Mind you, I am as wise now as before as I havent got a clue what to look for really. She wants the cheapest deals available and she is not a heavy download user. She lives in Chelmsford (I am thinking of NTL type coverage) and just wants a basic ISP. Any advice? Thorin
er Tiscali are cheap and ok I think. Can't get broadband here and haven't had it for a year and a half so probably not the best one to ask.

Gordon F
How does the sky deal measure up? Dont really understand giga-bites, so I dont know if it's a good deal or not. I would like wireless access from more than 1 pc which aol does not allow. Cheers

Jezz
The sky deal looks like a winner, but they're still rolling the network out. The lowest package is free to sky customers. Ntl not too bad. Customer service is shite though.
CJ
Eclipse is showing a package for £9.95 per month with a 2gb limit. Do you think that will be ok for someone like he who does not download much music etc?

Do you think that will be ok for someone like he who does not download much music etc? should be plenty if they are just a regular web surfer / emails but you start listening to radio streams or music online and 2gb / month isnt all that.
