This was a long time ago :)

Me and a friend used to blag our way in every week using lines from American Psycho, we'd ring in advance or get one of the ladies in the office to do it on our behalf on the premise that we wanted to entertain important clients.

Tragic stuff really but it kept us amused.

As we are doing 'have worked for people'...

When working with my brother in law building tennis courts. I helped build courts for....

Louise Nurding (Rednap now, and she makes a terrible cuppa)

Bruce Forsyth (hes really cool)

Les Dennis (he moaned because we parked the van in his drive)

And some singer, Eva someone or something from like the 60's!

My bro has worked for loads more... :)

Really? If it is then that is brilliant and you are my hero.

Did you tell them you worked in 'mergers and acquisitions'? ;)

I think it may have been on the strength of his business card, the subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark.

I'm ashamed to say it's true :)

Of course :) My friend also used to like to do the full quotes for the scenes where he bangs on about Sri Lanka, Phil Collins, Witney Houston etc... it confused the locals.

I used to crew for and be webmaster/IT guru for Smax Smith, 2003 FIA Top Fuel champion ('til he emigrated to Canada last year).

My dad went to school with Phil Cool.

My great, great grandad Lanty Slee was an infamous bootlegger around Barrow/Cumbria. Has a couple of little places named after him. Apparently, the stuff he used to brew could send you blind for a day or so. He had stills hidden all over the Lakes.

He once came to me with a broken Singer stitching machine. He put it on the counter and said.......

"Make it sew!"

I'll get me coat.

Hilarious! I assume thats only me then!

On a relevant note, my family name "Oels" dates back as a direct descendent of the notorious drunk hussy Princess Caroline of Brunswick, of Prussian decent (Napoleon's era). No I hadn't heard of her before either! She was once mentioned in an episode of Blackadder III. Fame and fortune ensues. Not.

No wonder I have a fondness of weissbier!

I once got a wink off Daniella Westbrook while I was having a meal with my then g/f in Planet Hollywood (when it was cool - honest it was once)

She now lives next door to my dad's friend... she's stalking me I swear!
