Branners
I put mine in the glovebox in the center console only joking. the Racelogic ECU generally sits right with the main ECU doesnt it? I thought the cables werent that long so it cant really go anywhere else.
Terminator
Mine is behind the carpet on the side of the transmission tunnel in the passenger foot well, not by choice but the alarm install took my favoured position. But it is a good position as it is easy to get at. If you bury it is ARPITA to get access if you need it. I store all the link cable behind the carpet too so laptop plug in easy especially if you like changing dats
Willson
As Branners said, it fits nicely where the (soon defunct) stock trac ecu is, beside the main ecu. I fed the config cable out the top of the cover.

Willson
All the wires come straight from the Main ECU (foot panel), except the 4 abs connections which are behind the stereo, at the ABS ECU. It is an relatively easy install for anyone who has done an average car stereo (amp, subs etc). Lots of useful info including some installation instructions here. http://www.racelogic.co.uk/traction.htm If you buy the unit, you get better instructions though, and an ecu pin diagram for your specific car. I am sure someone on here can help you with these, (mine went with my car).
