bromy
Pretty sure it had something to do with the steering column you will need to ask Phoenix to be sure as you say most are fitted to lhd cars

Guest p_streaks
NICE!! lil bump from the pass..but what power figures are you getting? I just ordered the same kit but with 780CC injectors. Hope to get close to 500rwhp in the end..
Lebsteif
Keep in mind that your stock 5spd gearbox won;t hold 500rwhp, also you need to modify the intercoolerpipework because of the steering column.

JamieP
?? What part are you questioning? Fact 5 speed box is not very strong and will not hold that sort of power and i presume the ic pipe that comes off the turbo can foul the steering column on rhd cars. No such thing as a TT 5 speed box, the TT box is a very strong 6 speed Getrag unit.
couv3z
oh dear... so *if* i was ever to take my na-TT to above 500bhp i'd need a 6 speed lump
JamieP
IMO yes over 500bhp you would need a 6 speed box.

Golddigga
Is this gearbox really a go'er? How strong is this? I am really tempted to go N/A-T but so far have been a bit put off by the fact that I have been told that to do it right would cost £7-10k?? Any views appreciated Point of note - I know where the search button is thanks, just wondered if there are any new views - new projects that have gone N/A-T?
