black cat Posted August 1, 2006 Author Share Posted August 1, 2006 ok go on then,i hope this makes black cat feel a little better,. when i was younger i had to have a nurse come round once a week in the morning for 6 months,. this was to give me an injection,. the injection was from a big hyperdermic needle,. into my groin - but from the rear ,. thru my ass. honest it was incredibly painfull. and there where 24 of them. ahhhhhhhhhhh this is not that bad.... i hope. black cat Posted August 1, 2006 Author Share Posted August 1, 2006 exactly id rather i made u think it worse then it is and then you think that wasnt that bad. i was unlucky and had 5 of the buggers yeh one was about 3mm and u can hear them plop in the toilet I got mine due to days without water and then drinking alcohol and not really drinking anymore water causing myself the problem. do u drink water regularly? Reason i say be drunk is my mate had some and was very lucky and passed them while drunk, he didnt feel a thing but a bit sore after....lucky sod Mike - Anytime u post a thread of problems ill jump on the bandwagon i am now trying to drink regulally, and have been for the last few months.. ivan Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 I had one that got stuck. I was doubled up in agony at the top of the stairs and the missus ended up rushing me to hospital. I've never, ever felt so much pain. Mine couldn't be broken up and they ended up going up inside to get it... I've still got it somewhere in a little bottle. The doc said that I need to drink lots all the time to prevent a reoccurence. The good news is that he also said it doesn't need to be water - beer will do fine. Good luck. markymark Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 i only have one stone, and its small. they are gona find out from a blood test what has caused it, then inject me with a dy and take xrays top see exaclly where it is then they will try to mash it up, if i havent already passed it... but he said youle know when you do..... (great)....... then if this doesnt work they may have to operate. I had this done to me when I had mine a few years back so I know what you are feeling (it is extremly painful) I was stuck in hospital for a week and had to have my pee strained but did not find anything. After they had done the dye in the blood and the x-rays I had already passed it and I was ok to leave(I think i past it just before they started doing the straining) I know mine was through lack of drinking and would advise to anyone to make sure to drink unless you want a pipe stuck up your japs eye?? Get well soon Its this the same as gallbladder stones? well Steve, Thats the three in a row. - Video camera at JAE - Job - kidney Stone Its only good things for you now mate he best hope its not like gallbladder stones! my ex had one of them. they had to operate on her, when she felt the pain it was close to bursting. instead of just removing the stone through key hole, they remove the entire bladder (as aparently it isnt used for much) but now she has to be carefull what she eats, not too much fat or dairy products, cos if she does the body cant cope with it all!
