hob
Just wondering what the max boost anyone has seen run in any car is? 1.2 bar is pretty common, 1.4/1.5/2.0 for modified cars, I think I have seen a supra run 3.0 bar Just wondering what the highest boost a car (anywhere) has run, surely there is a limit for spool up time/efficiency bandwith, but what is it I know there are probably the industrial turbo's running 28 bar or something lol

JohnA
Over 5 bar can be found in the States at tractor-pulling events and the like. They use compound turbocharging though (ie a turbo compressing the already compressed air)
