Rayman
Yes they look perfect, definately dont draw as much attention to them as before. Every time i see the orange ones they just draw my eyes towards them. Much better!
Stonkin
All mine are being dropped off tonight, apart from the front indicators, hadnt really thought of them as mine are clear anyway. I'll get the rest done and then have a think about the fronts. MOT day today!!!!

chilli
oh excellent timing, been thinking of this myself I'd even go as far as to say they look better than the face lift white ones (white is as common as orange these days) right so I got me a little job for the weekend lol recommended tint spray is? this 'savage' stuff? and numpty question #1 how do you remove the lense covers, a clip round the back? Stonkin
Are you referring to the lense covers on the front indicators Chilli? I'm not sure, but all of mine are being sprayed on the outside

garetheves
Chilli, to remove the front indicators there are just 2 bolts on the back of the indicator unit. I found it easiest to take out my headlights to get to them. Then they just slight out. In terms of paint i just went to my local auto paint place and asked them make me some up, got some red while i was there for another idea i had. Not too expensive. Then its just a few coats of that (making sure the indicator is clean), wet sand it back a bit, another coat and maybe a lacquer if needed. Ive also heard, although didnt do it on mine because i heard about it afterwards, that if you pre-heat your oven to about 50-70 deg and put the lights in for approx 5 mins after each coat it gives them a really nice shine. gonna do this myself when i re-do them. hth
chilli
cheers garath, ahh so your just using regular paint - I thought you needed some proper tint paint? sounds easy enough to do though, I might try this myself on the weekend - but I'll probably just get a can of spray lense tint

If you know a shop local to you that sells tint spray just use that.
Lee-Anne
i was thinking of doing this because i just got my headlights refurbished and painted black so think my clear indicators look a bit shiny and clear compared so was going to tint slightly not black but didnt know if you could just paint the outside of them
