Engine racing

Any ideas as to why my J-spec TT engine could be racing like its high on something??? I noticed it just lately especially today after driving over to Bluewater and back to Hemel. Even after I switched it off and the auto boost timer was just counting down the engine seemed to be up and down like it was going to blow up!

Pop over to see Mark Kindell - he's just around the corner in Aylesbury:thumbs:

PS Check your oil as well - as I think you look like it's due a change from the rear (Oo-er missus!)

PPS Yours doesn't

PPSS I mean...well...I mean...someone lend me a shovel to dig my way outa this...:p

Yikes - induction air leak?!!!:( Sounds worrying - is it simple to sort out??? Can't be worse than when my bottom (hmm seem to have a lot of problems with that area!!) crank shaft pully broke making my radiator brake!!! and now this! I don't even have time to see Mark Kindell as I'm off to sunny France on business but may be when I'm back I'll call - anyone got his number?

If it's the oil needing changing is there any specific oil type the lovely Supe auto J-spec TT need to keep them on top form?
