CJ
I thought I would post a general message to explain what is happening to the car and why it is being broken as people were asking why it could not have been sold as a whole car. The simple reason is that money needed to be found very quickly (by the 20th of this month) to pay the police £2000 which is the amount they are saying Dude earned from his criminal activities. Unfortunately, neither he nor his family had the 2k and the decision was made to break the car as this seemed to be the best and quickest way to generate funds. I am also conscious of the fact that people are owed parts and money by Dude and am grateful to everyone (well almost everyone) for allowing me to sell the parts off to generate money for Dude's family instead of claiming bits and money for themselves. You will note that I said the money is for Dude's family and that is correct. When I took on this unenviable task it was not to generate money for Dude. My only thoughts were for his wife and daughter who are the innocent victims in all this. They will recieve the full amount to do with as they see fit. Gazboy
Have you got a list of the non-standard parts? I'm assuming it's the entire car you are breaking so I'm not expecting a 12,000 piece infantry of every nut, bolt and component.

Soonto_HAS_soop
I'm not expecting a 12,000 piece infantry I don't even think that Nelson had that at waterloo! As for Dudes car, shame to see it happen, but keep us posted as to when the rest will be up for sale (i.e. the inventory) as I will be interested in some parts. Gaz6002
Very decent of you mate. Never met dude but his reputation is second to none on this forum from what I can tell. I'm sure his family will appreciate the gesture
Muffleman
Well done Col. I'm financially down due to Dude's stay away but totally feel for him and his family, and so never got out of my pram about it. I'm not happy, but it's not Dude's fault and I look forward to seeing him again.
Tourniquet
Is there a dump valve, after market leather seats or an exhaust system left ? Sorry to hear of Dude's situation but I know nothing of him.
