My parents are trying to convince me that perhaps a Honda Civic Type-R will be a better investment then a Supra. Any chance you guys can keep my mind in check because I think thier winning!! Ewen
My parents are trying to convince me that perhaps a Honda Civic Type-R will be a better investment then a Supra. 'Investment' and 'car' dont go together very well....but with a Supra you can 'invest to unvest' as chicks like them (probably) more than Civics. So you can tell your parents you've thought this one through sensibly

Get a type R if you wanna be like all the other chavs! Cars are never a good investment How much is your budget? Get a VVTI if you can..Theres a v nice Blue VVTI NA going on here for £7.5k. Or get a VVTI TT funds permitting. I'm down on the Romney Marsh
gaz1
Honda Civic Type-R will be a better investment and a similar driving experience, as your milk float:p
Jspec Germany
I owned a civic, ..........once. I put all kinds of money in it back before people were really into tuning and I lost a ton when I sold it. I stand to make quite a bit of money if/when I were to sell my Supra. Tell your parents that it's going to be your car and is therefore your decision.........that is,... unless... mommy and daddy are footing the bill. In that case, maybe a car with training wheels would be better.
Guest milk_mann
Na, my parents haven't ever paid for anything. I make my way in life - Plus I start a new 21k job in 10 days so the 10k loan I have for a car is going to excellent use! If I could find a VVTi TT I would be very very happy. Didn't really want to go NA, never do anything half arsed me Plus I have 3 RX7s to kick down Pod. And trust me I'm FAR from chavvy, unlike my younger brother who could be mistaken for NIKE/BURBERRY factory. So I'm guessing thats a no on the Civic front then yeah?
