Supragal
its illegal to dock tails nowadays only recently, and not entirely working dogs can still be docked. Doberman is docked, wish he wasn't he wags his little stump so much it would be well cute if he had it all! Ridegebacks don't have their tails docked anyway, one of the reasons I like them
colsoop
Ahh you learn something new every day. My jack russell has a semi docked tail, his mum and dad are working dogs on the farm so the breeder wasn't sure what to do about the pups tails.
Supragal
Actually I am wondering if the new law has a loophole for something like that- loads of normally docked pups are turning up at the socialisation classes with half docked tails.
garethr
My jack russell has a semi docked tail........ Terriers are never docked as short as Boxers etc. It's a handle if you need to pull the dog out of a fox hole
