The Road Warrior Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Parked the car in my garage on Sun night at around 11pm, went to use it last night and the garage lock seemed to have seized up. So with the help of a screwdriver got it open and found my car window smashed! 3 weeks ago this would've been my supra, luckily I sold it the other week. Had no valuables in the car or garage apart from my push bike which is about £300's worth and they didn't even take that?!! Why do the sad bast*rds do it? My garage is in a block in a secure car park but the main security gate wasn't working. Wish I could've caught the idiots.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The local chav druggies try to do that with my garage too, so I ended up fitting lockes that bolt down into the concret floor. They were only about £30 for a pair from a good locksmiths. Andy-No-Knee Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Yep, all I needed was a drill, with a large masonary bit about 15mm for the dead bolt to go into, and a smaller drill for the bolt holes in the garage door.
