this noise only comes when takein off in 1 st gear, a noticable rattle coming from the gear box it doesnt matter if the car is hot or cold its their all the time.from idle to approx 2500rpm than goes away and all is silent again..

next is at e.g. 100kph in 6th at 2000ish rpm, you put your foot down to accelerate and a rattle noise ( more noticable from the first problem) comes from the gearbox/clutch area from the inside of the car... Also its always their no matter what gear only when the rpm is low and the engine is under a bit of pressure....

any input,ideas,help,any thing cheers people

Without hearing the noise it is hard to tell...

Just a thougth though. I had a rattle a few weeks ago. It ended up being the heatshields on the exhaust, where the downpipe meets the main pipe.

That came on and off at certain revs too...you never know.....

Edited...

If it is def. gearbox/bell housing area then the most likely cause is a worn flywheel.

Do you have cats in still, could be of those has started to desintigrate and the parts are rattling around insdie the exhaust.
