Nic Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 Steve do you hear it when parked or moving slowly, when turning the wheel lock to lock? If it does, it sounds like your power steering fluid is either low, has air in the system or the pump is knackered and needs replacing. Also check that the noise is not coming from the belt that goes to the power steering pump. The pump is located to the front of the engine rhs low down as you stand in front of the car.
