nuttynutz
right what would you do? first of all, i messaged him to ask where he lives. (replies on 23rd april - southall) now i won it for £3.20 i emailed as follow. "Hello Hardeep I have won the auction for the 306 parcel shelf. I would like to collect it as i live in north-west London myself, near Harrow. when are you free for me to collect? Tuesday night would be most ideal for me. But ofcourse at your convenience too. I will pay you cash when I collect. If you could send me your address for me to come collect, would be much appreciated or if you prefer a meeting point. Many Thanks Ollie" to which he replies "Hi there Congrats on winning item. You can come to collect but would still have to pay for the p&p as i have to get it sent to my home from my brother. I will only charge you £12 extra so you pay £15.20 in total as i will be charged this for getting the item to my house. If you still wish to collect please email me back and you can pay the total of £15.00 otherwise i can post and the total would be £23.20. I am working in HA8 postcode on tue and wed so you can arrange for pickup from there , has to be morning between 9-12pm. please advice asap so i can arrange to get item by tue/wed. Hardeep" like WTF? what should i do? how should i reply to that? "NO i dont think so, £3.20 is what i am going to pay, its your problem to deliver to yourself. i asked you before where you were based, if im not going to get this the price i won it at, i will report you" ?? besides that, why the hell would sending to him from his bro cost £15.20, but sending from his bro to me £23.20???????????????? ebay link

colsoop
There was nothing in the advert about additional costs for delivery so tell him that, and explain you will report him for trying to rip you off.

Chipmunk
Right at the bottom of the link though , he's put in postage costs of £20. I must admit though, its a bloody nerve to ask for postage costs if collecting in person

If he stated that collection was an option on the advert, he is not conforming to his contractual rights. Give him the option: 1) Allow you to pick up and you pay the winning bid either by cash on delivery or paypal him (he loses money) 2) Advise him that it is your intention to report him to Ebay, whom will probably BAN HIM!
