On the subject of avatars and stuff, and generally being a spoilsport fuddy-duddy, if many more people start using pictures of ladies bits as their avatars then I doubt I'll be able to get away with surfing the forum at work.

 

I hate to sound like a wussy, but I really can't see the point with having NWS avatars while we have pushed NWS posts into a separate section specifically so we could keep the rest of the site work-safe!

Nope, all the pictures are stored off our server and so don't affect bandwidth.

 

Because it's annoying

 

Is the correct answer. Nothing annoys me more than having to find what needs to be read on the page because the 1 or 2 lines of actual post contents is buried in amongst massive signatures with unnecessary pictures in them.
