Guest Terry S
yeah ask Dusty Bud, if you get stuck I will ask HKS USA if they sell a seperate kit. Maybe Nic can help.
Chris Wilson
I can supply the correct bolts, they are shorter than stock, and pretty expensive. You CAN shorten stock ones in a lathe, or if you are a real animal, with a hacksaw I don't recommend it though.
Chris Wilson
Oh, and when all is done and dusted expect the thing to judder and be incredibly grabby. I have now come to the conclusion that HKS multi plate clutches are right up there with their air "filters" in the quality stakes. I have removed 5 of the things so far, as people just can't put up with their behaviour. A Giken one is a totally different animal, although structurally similar. I have driven 2 HKS twin plate clutched cars that drove smoothly, one was buggered, and the clutch slipped like hell, the other must have been made on a good day... I would reconsider before you find out..... i'll try it.i havent a problem with changing the clutch if its that bad. anyway ive just looked at the flywheel and it has studs built into it so i'll just use some m8 nyloc nuts on it. The difference between the clamp face thickness of a stock flywheel, and the HKS one, though. As i have neither to hand I can't give a figure, sorry. Sean1933
I have to agree that it is hard work to drive a Sup with one of these, in traffic anyway! But it doesnt half bite well!
supragold
I tore through my HKS twin in no time. Just had an overhaul kit fitted but not impressed. Brilliant and easy to drive with but I've farted longer than these things last.
