Markie
Anyone got any views, good or bad on the Boostlogic/POwer House Racing turbo and fuel kits? ie, which seem the best etc? Thanks.
michel lane
they are all as good as each other , it all boils down to the price now . You really cant go wrong with the new manifolds on the market as the RD has been done on the strengthening of the manifolds, then they just get copied. Its the turbo that you have to look at and the fitments . PHR modify there own turbo's were i believe boostlogic buy PTE turbo's as do Sound performance . All depends on what you want to achive and how much money you are looking to spend. You also need backup support on the kits, so a reachable number is required. thats my option. Ian C
I have a BL kit, it's very good as long as you can get the stuff delivered before hell freezes over. BL's delivery outside of the US is a bit shite. -Ian

veilsideTT
I have PHR kit, Great kit, Easily installed it myself. You get a Geniuine HKS manifold included (think thats maybe why PHRs kits are bit more pricy), Everything is heat coated. Polished turbo blah blah blaah! and the best bit = SCREAMER PIPE!!!! veilsideTT
Sorry dude, wasn't trying to say BL kit didn't come with one, just pointing out the PHR kit did I can see how i worded it looked like i was saying the BL kit didn't have one Screamer pipe = A pipe that comes off the wastegate that expels the wasted exhaust gasses straight to atmosphere under boost. As apposed to other kits that re-route the gas back into the downpipe and into the exhaust. Screamers are a personal taste thing, Under boost you get this weird kind of Roar come from the engine bay. For me it sounds amazing and really takes people by surprise For some people....they hate it! HTH Scotty

BURT
Boostlogic for me too bud, fantastic kit, fits perfectly and looks great too, i believe that the BL manifold is thicker than the hks one and a bit stronger too, other than that i dont know mujch about the PHR kits so cannot comment on them. as for delivery, didnt have any hassle with mine deliverd inside of two weeks and had loads of extras on the pallet too. A to Terry S and the lads at Pheonix, excellent sevice and customer care

Ian C
I'm a bad man, I forgot my turbo kit was delayed due to a parts shortage rather than anyone being slack per se Apologies and if you need a BL turbo kit go through Vortex & Terry as they will sort it out for you. /sidles off -Ian

Ian C
To shuffle off sideways, moving anything above the waist as little as possible and making as little noise as possible, in the hope you won't catch anyone's eye and can disappear from a scenario without being noticed. Ian C
Funny you should mention that Work in progress... Annoyingly it's better than my own harness, as it's the 3rd one I've done and I've got a full wiring guide I wrote for myself and it's all being done at once rather than in seven or eight sessions as I add, remove, or change stuff... -Ian
Nic
I was checking the Trust catalogue the other day for something and noticed that they now sell a vehicle specific harnesses for the orginal blue emanage, which basically looks like a fields harness with the harness for the emanage already plumbed in. Just think of all that work I could have saved you Ian Unfortunately they do not do the same for the Emanage Ultimate yet For future reference the e-manage vehicle specifc harness for the Supra is part #15910915, price of these is around £140. Pig
I would recommend the BL kits as well! If your thinking of a single turbo upgrade, chat to terry s, he is very helpful. If you get in at the right time, like i did. The delivery time is.....no time at all! IMHO i want a fast buy reliable car, thats the reason why i went BL!
