Rob_B
Guys, Car is having probs at the moment (strange whooping noise coming from No1. Turbo) so its booked into a garage for the weekend. This morning I drove the car to work which is about 1 min from the garage so I drop it there on the weekend. When I got into work after keeping the car below 60 all the way, I realised that it was making a really strange smell. The kind of smell you get in the dentists when your having your teeth drilled. Anyone know what the hell that is ? Ta, Rob.
Nic
A few common smell suggestions: Water overheating (was the smell coming through the heater vent?) Clutch overheating Brakes Slipping belt Oil burning (leak onto exhaust for example) non really smell like having your teeth drilled though good luck with the problems. cheers

CJ
If the smell gets truly unbearable, you might try filling the cavity on the air vent?
