Bob
Preferably on a TT, wanting to install my old WON system in the next month or so. Looking to start off with the single injector, possibly go direct-port when I can afford it (after the wedding is out of the way!). Ta!

Justin
Try here: http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Nitrous_Oxide-16.asp Keep the distance between the solenoids as close to the jets as poss but away from heat. Not like I did when I had NOS. See below. pics of my old install.
jazz1
i dont think nitrous is all that, your better of spending proper money on the engine where you constantly will recieve power
Bob
i dont think nitrous is all that, your better of spending proper money on the engine where you constantly will recieve power Gee thanks, oh tuning guru. Justin, do you mind me asking what the reasoning was behind installing the injector directly into the throttle body, rather than the inlet pipe? Clarkey
Doesn't direct port injection put more stress on the pistons with the addtional power ?
jazz1
thank you, clarky it ruins the pistons
Clarkey
As far as I understand, that's why most people favour a wet fogger system. As the shot of fuel & N2o puts less stress on the pistons. Other than a progressive controller to deliver the shot in a linear fashion - for fogger/direct port. I don't know what mods you'd need to run direct port for maximum reliability. sooper-supra
why tune the engine bay when you can tune the engine? oh,and it last a lot longer than 4 sec's. lol the nitrous kit is good for my car n/a as it gives you abit of extra power if you dont want to turbo the car which is very costly n/a - turbo and well for 4 seconds not quite will last longer than that! Shaun. It's not like in the films and the common myth of "it blows up yer engine" is on the whole not common as it appears - especially when a progressive is used. My 0.02 Shaun.
