JonW
This is going to be a very hard problem to answer but thought I'd post it anyway just in case anyone else has had the same issue. When cornering there is a sound that seems to come from the passenger door. It sounds as if something metal is falling around inside the door panel. At first I though the speaker may have fallen off and was sliding around. I have taken the door card off and there is nothing loose in there. Any ideas:help:
Lucifer
Yup your correct, impossible to work that one out! Are you sure teh window requlator is secure, thata common one. Also check for the rubber around the door catch on the chassis.
Ian W
had this problem too, found out that it was actually when the missus got out the seatbelt was twisted and was hitting the door pillar......do'h!
jackso11
Have you tried taking the door card off and going for a drive. A passenger should be able to find it.
JonW
Yeah tried that and typically the noise stopped. It is intermittant. Can go for days without hearing it.
sdavies
I seem to have developed this problem too - exactly the same symptoms. I thought it was the seatbelt at first, but it also happens when I have a passenger buckled up. There is a little plastic nubbin just inside the interior of the door handle that seems to suddenly not be gripping on to anything (loose and vibrates occsionally when idling). Haven't had a chance to dive in to the innards of the door to figure it out yet - if I ever do will let you know
