jaymdee
Watch it folks, had the back end slide out on 2 roundabouts on the way home last night Luckily no other cars on the roundabouts at the time. Another reminder of the awesome power of the Supra and the needed with the current road conditions J
Scoboblio
Indeed..... infact on my way to work on Monday morning the back end came round without any warning or understeer first, simply snapped at me while I was going round a gentle left hand bend that I go round every single day at a moderate speed. I ended up in a 4 wheel drift, going sideways over a small ditch and into the field beyond.... I was very lucky it didn't roll over. Oh, did I mention I was in my FWD cavalier? Luckily I just took a run-up at the ditch and got back on the road Looking back on it there's no tyre marks on the road, there was no screaching and no smoke.... the road must have been like a skating rink. jaymdee
LOL!! Bloody hell mate, close shave there then Pity there was no security cameras in the area, I can just imagine the scene being on Bravo "Most reckless drivers..." or whatever, with the sherriff bloke with a rubber head: "watch this reckless driver as attempts to rejoin the carriageway by jumping the ditch, with a complete disregard for any oncoming road users..." Bet you were glad you weren't in the Supra!! J
Scoboblio
Bet you were glad you weren't in the Supra!! Oh yes There was no-one else about luckily. As I sat in the field two things were on my mind... one was "s**t" the other was "get out before anyone sees you"
lust2luv
LOL - same two thoughts I had when I span my girfriend's 1.2 Clio onto a central reservation a few months back! I've never known roads to be as slippery as they have this year (and I don't mean ice).
