Did he challenge you to sort all his wires out? I bet they're still in a mess :innocent: :D

I hope not too. I'm looking forward to it now, I've had my fueling checked and apparently from 4k rpm to the redline fueling is spot on. Was running a bit rich at low revs but not that bad really, have tried cleaning the O2 sensor too so hopefully that might sort that out.

 

Roll on next sunday :)

i have sent for a restrictor ring hope it comes intime.

will be nice to see other supras there too

 

you just going in the RWYB?

 

ps will bring digital camcorder and get some supra footage, just dont know how to upload to pc, think i need a fireware card

its got a usb lead with it too

no problem.good to see supras in action.i have been to last few drag meets there. when i go i get optimax before i set off. but on a64 york road just before you get there is a garage next to macdonalds that sell super plus unleaded.

 

the cortina guy uses aviation fuel and mixes it with optimax he also fills up nos bottles too. and last time i was there there was a stall selling coolblue 76 race fuel 106ron for £39 for 10 liter drum

 

will look on ebay for a fireware card. the cam i bought it off sister but she cant find the software cd she got with it

downloaded a usb driver somewhere.

Just got all nearest Optimax garages from Shell 'Station-Finder'...

 

SORTED :p

 

CHECK-LIST :-

1) petrol money

3) HELMET ! ! (don't forget lads ! ! - they're pretty keen on helmets !)

4) petrol money

5) burger money

6) petrol money

I'm IN A.A. mate...

 

they got me back from Elvington....

 

BUT IT TOOK 'EM ~9 HOURS ! ! ! !

 

(first truck took me to Northampton ~ 1 1/2 hrs, then had to

wait ~THREE HOURS for the second ! ! ! ! ! ! ! )

 

still, they GOT us back..... :(

list of what you need

 

1.COFFEE

2.licence

3.helmet (same colour as car if you POSH)

4.£9 entrance fee

5.£15 racing fee

6.shell optimax (1/2 a tank)

7.octane booster (for a bit of safety)

8. pulled 7.5amp trac fuse

9. reset ecu (5 mins should do)

10.food

11. batterys charged up for digital cameras/camcorders

12. 10mm socket for removing drivers headlight

10 min job, hardest part is undoing the plastic electrical connectors.

had a quick practice launch off lights was snaking about like a snakey thing
