Looks interesting, will watch it when I get home tonight. I have herd its funny and I kind of like the comment on the site that all geeks work in the basement while all the good looking people work upstairs and mock the I.T. support.

I remember Red Dwarf was shit in series one...

No it wasn't!

It was ground breaking. If you read the books you get a much better flavour of what they were going for.

The production was done on a budget and the acting fairly poor, but the story and humour was great.

Well there's no naked ladies in it if that's what you're asking? ;)

The Red Dwarf books are highly recommended to anyone who liked the tv show. Similar story line but way more depth and detail. Like the story of how Lister gets the position on Red Dwarf in the first place.

Dont get me wrong, I can watch Red Dwarf over and over again (although series 3 got a bit crap) but go back and watch series one and think how you would see it first time out without knowing what you know about it today. Acting was crap, first couple of episodes not much happened, canned laughter all over the place.

I watched episode 2 of The IT Crowd and it was better than the first one, some bits I laughed at properly, but then I work in IT and have a team of support engineers working for me.
