Just changed over reservoirs and it's now as noisey as hell and the steering is a little stiff Is it worth draining it and filling again?? supragold Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I had this same problem with mine. I haven't read that link but what I did was take off the lid to the reservoir and turn the wheel to lock position and hold it untill a bubble appeared then turn it to the other lock and hold it etc etc. Its best to have someone watching the fluid rise and bubble appear while you hold the steering on lock. jim_supra Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Have just changed over the reservoir, and got this same problem!! Was worried for a bit there, thought i'd done in the P/S pump!! terribleturner Posted February 2, 2006 Author Share Posted February 2, 2006 I did it and then realised i hadn't done a jubilee clip up tight enough which then started leaking and put more air in Had to do it again and touch wood all's good.
