To be honest my dislike of public transports stems from living in Shropshire where it takes you all day and several stops to get anywhere. Also I like to be in control. I used to hate getting the train to work every day until one day i 'accidentally' managed to get on the train without my fare and it was the one day that they were checking tickets. A kind man gave me the fare and even asked if i needed any money for the rest of the day! How nice?! I do prefer my own company in the car now tho...
