Lewis
I have a domain which I used to forward elsewhere in the system, I didnt do it in the httpd.conf (as I have checked here) I didn't do it in the domains htaccess Where else overrides this as I cannot get the domain to point back to it's home folder. Feel a bit of an idiot as I know this system inside out, I re-wrote most of the kernel and file system, it's late and I am frustrated which I am sure is not helping at all. Any pointers would be appreciated
carl0s
I'm quite lame when it comes to web stuff mate, but could you have used mod_rewrite?
Lewis
no it needed to be internally forwarded, into a system file that allowed subdomain redirects to be created on the fly. It wasn't a url redirect. I have fixed the problem by using a different IP but still need to find where I left the pointer. Pete
Not something as simple as a forwarding default page is it? I always tend to overlook the obvious.
